Suburgatory 1.11 “Out in the Burbs” Review
“Out in the Burbs” was originally aired on January 11, 2011, and it is an episode that is complete with an incredible amount of homosexual and sexual innuendos, while leaving behind Tessa’s possible affair stemming from the previous episode. Read the following quick recap to get up to date about things.

George the Pervert
Dallas has certainly changed something a bit in George, since he acts a bit weird around her after the kiss. However, this is obviously a very tiresome game. He thinks that she might be leading him on, since he definitely wants more of her. What more could he want from her? However, she is married, and George is not too comfortable with starting an affair. Every time they meet, their exchanges are rift with sexual innuendoes. For example, in one instance, Dallas grabs two melons to mimic her boobs, and George touches them suggestively. Then, on a wall, she starts rubbing herself and talking sexy. Hearing this, George becomes intrigued. However, she denies knowing what he is implying. She is definitely subtle.
Tessa’s Gaydar
At a high school investigation, a cop points out Tessa’s bigger brother, thinking that he could be a possible bad guy in a drug bust. In Tessa’s mind, though, this undercover cop is just up to no good. She thinks that he is getting her brother in trouble simply because he is gay. She suspects this rather strongly and even tries to help him to become more used to himself. After she has a chat with the elaborate school guidance counselor, she finds out that he is also gay as well. Towards the end of the episode, everyone finds out that the guidance counselor is gay as well as the secret identity of the undercover cop. Not so secret, anymore, eh?
Awkward Lisa
Lisa crushes on the undercover cop who Tessa suspected is a closeted gay. This show is definitely very hard on Allie Grant, no matter how funny she is. Thus, she tries to dress more like a guy and act kind of boyish. However, this is not taken very well by the cop who simply thinks that she’s weird. This obviously does not lead to anywhere. Hopefully Lisa can have better luck next time.
